Join us for Extra Life Game Day
Since 2008, gamers involved in Extra Life have come together to play games and raise vital funds to help sick and injured kids treated at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. In 2018 alone, 734 gamers signed up to play on behalf of UPMC Children’s, raising $163,439 to support areas such as Child Life, injury prevention, community outreach and cutting-edge research.
On November 2, Extra Life is hosting their annual Game Day broadcast and we want to share how YOU can get involved:
- Register to Play Games, Heal Kids at extralife.org/register and select UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
- Pledge to play games and ask your friends and family to donate.
- You can play whatever game(s) you like for however long you want on whatever console, platform or place.
- Not a gamer but still want to help? Donate to our Patient Champion, Gabriel, or share about the event on your social media channels.
To learn more, visit extra-life.org or get best practices from local Guild members by visiting the Extra Life Pittsburgh Facebook group.
Thank you to all of the Extra Lifers who participate or donate each year, and to our local event sponsor, Schell Games, for their continued support!
