Brez Coffee Co Partners with Extra Life

Level up your mornings with this epic partnership brewed right out of Chicago! We’re thrilled to introduce a coffee bean company that’s not only steeped in gaming culture but also powers up Extra Life by donating a percentage of sales to local member hospitals. Get ready to press start on a cup of joe that makes a difference! 🎮☕️

Brez (pronounced “Bee-Rez”) Coffee Company was founded in 2021 by two families with a shared love of exceptional coffee and gaming. Their name comes from the gaming term, Brez, which means “Battle Resurrection.” Specifically, in World of Warcraft, players use brez to resurrect an ally during combat, allowing them to rejoin the fight. Just like the caffeine in coffee can wake you up when you need that jolt of energy.

The founders have deep roots in Extra Life, dating back to 2017. One of their founders, Brandon Popper, has raised more than $12,000 over the last 8 years (and yes, he has the Lifetime Achievement Coin in his office).

Brez recently formed a local partnership with Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago to create a custom Extra Life branded flavor of coffee. I ordered a bag of this Extra Life special blend, and was pleased to see that 10% of the sale of every order goes to their Extra Life campaign.

We were surprised (and delighted) to hear that they sell the “seasonal” flavors year-round. This means that I don’t have to wait until October to get my pumpkin spice fix and Chelsey can get her peppermint mocha outside of December.

If you order Extra Life coffee from Brezcoffeeco.com – we’d love for you to share your unboxing, brewing, or sipping experience with us and Brez on social. You can tag us @extralife4kids and @brezcoffeeco and use the hashtag #ExtraLifeCoffee.
