Don’t Miss Out on D&D Celebration 2020!

Wizards of the Coast has historically been one of Extra Life’s biggest partners. Despite COVID-19 causing problems across the gaming industry, Wizards of the Coast still plans on holding Dungeons & Dragons Celebration. The event will take place entirely online September 18-20, 2020, and will consist of digital game sessions, live play streams DMed by legends of the tabletop, and panels on tabletop game design and running campaigns hosted by the D&D design team and prominent members of the D&D community. To top it off, all proceeds from the event will be going toward Extra Life and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals!

The event has been designed to herald the release of D&D’s upcoming Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden adventure as well as Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything compendium of new rules, character customization options, and a whole lot more. The folks at Wizards of the Coast are hoping to use this event to set a world record for the largest online tabletop roleplaying game event. If you’d like to be a part of history, you can pre-register over on dndcelebration2020.com.

Registering for the event will allow you to sign up for D&D Adventurers League sessions that include 2-hour blocks for characters levels 1-4 with some unique and fantastical loot on the line!

As stated earlier, all proceeds from ticket sales for the event go to Extra Life. However, if you still feel the need to let your nerd flag fly with D&D merch, you’re in luck! The D&D team worked with Extra Life to create a line of D&D themed Extra Life shirts! Snag them while you can as they’ll be available only for a limited time!

Not only do your tickets and shirts go toward helping local children’s hospitals, but your tabletop games can, too! The Dungeons & Dragons team has put together a great number of standalone adventures and supplements that benefit Extra Life over the years – and still do! We’ve included a handy list below to help you find all of D&D’s Extra Life adventures and supplements.
