Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Needs Gaming Heroes Like YOU! Register for Extra Life United: Online Edition

Are you a gamer who is looking for ways to give back to your local community? Now more than ever Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital needs support.

WhatExtra Life is a peer-to-peer fundraising program for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Local gamers have raised funds since 2008 #ForTheKids treated at our children’s hospital — raising more than $269,000 for Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.

This year, Extra Life is hosting Extra Life United: Online Edition, an online charity gaming tournament happening April 7—9, 2020. Participants can unlock cool incentives through fundraising and there is a $150,000 USD prize pool to win funds from for kids like Calvin whose heart stopped for nearly 6 minutes when he was two months old. Doctors were able to bring Calvin back using ECMO, a heart and lung bypass machine. Today he is monitored closely by cardiologists, but you wouldn’t know a thing about his complicated medical history if you met him. Learn more about Calvin’s story here.

Where: Register at extra-life.org/united, then participants can register for these tournament games via a link sent to their email.

Why: Because now more than ever, children’s hospitals like ours need gaming heroes like you.

So, are you in?
