Our Hospital Needs Gaming Heroes Like YOU! Register for Extra Life United: Online Edition

Are you a gamer who is looking for ways to give back to your local community? Now more than ever TMC for Children needs support.

WhatExtra Life is a peer-to-peer fundraising program for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Local gamers have raised funds since 2013 #ForTheKids treated at our children’s hospital — raising more than $51,000!

This year, Extra Life is hosting Extra Life United: Online Edition, an online charity gaming tournament happening April 7—9, 2020. Participants can unlock cool incentives through fundraising and there is a $150,000 USD prize pool to win funds for kids like Wes.

Wes was diagnosed with Vertebral osteomyelitis when he was two via a biopsy. Vertebral osteomyelitis is a rare infection occurring between the intervertebral discs of the spine. After diagnosis, Wes received treatment and physical therapy at TMC for Children. Wes’ mom said that he was so excited to get a visit from the therapy horses and took a lot of trips to the play area. He has made a full recovery and is back to the running, jumping and playing that all two-year-olds enjoy. Read the full story here. Playing for Extra Life and raising money for TMC for Children, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals helps provide scholarships for pediatric therapies like the ones Wes needed.
