Platinum Extra Lifers can Unlock Game Controllers by Raising $2,000 USD in 2024

Fundraising rewards are a time-honored tradition of Extra Life. Many people recognize the signature medals and iconic shirts offered as fundraising rewards each year.

Each year, we are excited to introduce a “premium” fundraising reward for Platinum Extra Lifers who reach $2,000 USD at any point throughout the calendar year. This year, the premium reward is EXTRA LIFE: THE CONTROLLER!!

How to Unlock Extra Life: The Controller

First, make sure you have Platinum status. Log into your dashboard to verify that you’re a Platinum Extra Lifer. If you are, you’ll see it right below the event date. If you aren’t, you’ll see a link to upgrade to Platinum.

Once you’re confirmed as a Platinum Extra Lifer, reach a total of $2,000 USD raised between January 1 – December 31 this year.

Every Platinum Extra Lifer who reaches the $2,000 threshold will receive an email offering you the opportunity to claim your controller. Follow instructions in the email to select what type of controller you want and to provide/confirm your shipping info.

Act Fast – because this fundraising reward is limited. We only have a certain number of each type of controller, so the controller reward will be fulfilled on a first-redeemed-first-shipped basis. This means that even if you reach $2,000 before everyone else, you still need to complete the redemption process as quickly as possible before supplies run out.

You also have the ability to choose what type of controller you want — while supplies last. The three options include: Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch Pro. Each controller design may vary slightly from the example in the image above. You’re gonna love yours!

If you choose a controller that is no longer available, someone will reach out to you asap to identify your ‘second’ choice.
