Play Games, Heal Kids with Extra Life Chicago, as a Corporate Engagement Opportunity!

Are you looking for a way to engage employees virtually? Create a team through Extra Life and commit to raising funds and awareness for your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago! Extra Life is a national group of gamers, who share a common passion to heal kids in local communities through gaming. Whether you are a PC, console or classic board gamer—there is a home for everyone in Extra Life!

Each year on the first Saturday of November, Gamers set out to host or stream 24 hours of gaming straight. Through board game nights (in-person or virtually), streaming on Twitch, or hundreds of rounds of Mario Kart, Extra Life has brought together over 3,000 gamers in Chicagoland raising over $1,000,000 for the kids since 2014.

You can choose to participate on actual Game Day, or a day that works best for you. Some gamers commit to the full 24 hours at one time, while others space their plans out over the course of a few weeks. Many companies have found this to be a way to engage their employees as people can participate from their own home and on teams as small as a few people, to teams as large as you’d like!

To create a team for your organization, you can register for free at extra-life.org and then invite members from your organization to join the fight to play games, and heal kids with you.
