Remembering Maddox Hyde, Extra Lifer and Patient at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh

Maddox, patient and Extra Lifer for UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh who had battled cancer on and off for more than eight years, passed away this week. We’re remembering him and the great work he did for kids at his children’s hospital through Extra Life.

Last December after being discharged from the hospital to spend his remaining time at home, Maddox hosted an Extra Life stream on his Twitch channel and raised $15,601 for the kids at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. We’re grateful for his support and the impact those dollars will have on other patients treated at his Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
