Wizards of the Coast Champions Acceptance
April is Autism Acceptance Month and is dedicated to raising awareness, deepening understanding, and fostering acceptance of autistic individuals. It’s also a reminder of how important it is to connect autistic people and their families with the right resources and support.
Throughout this month, Seattle Children’s Autism Center and Alyssa Burnett Center are focusing on “Connecting the Dots to Resources.” The right information, services, and community connections can make a meaningful difference in helping autistic individuals thrive.
When we work together to build a more inclusive world, we ensure that every person has the support they need to reach their fullest potential.
Since 2015, Wizards of the Coast has participated in Extra Life, and in that time, they have raised nearly $5M directly for Seattle Children’s Autism Center through special Secret Lair drops and D&D characters, special events, and fundraisers which has supported some of our most innovative and creative initiatives and has helped us increase access to care both at the Autism Center and in the community.
Than you Wizards of the Coast, for exemplifying what Autism Acceptance looks like!
