Extra Life Wins Shorty Social Good Award!

Last night we were so honored to win a Shorty Social Good Award for Best Use of Live Streaming Video! We were also nominated in the category of Best Use of Games. This year marks the fourth Shorty Social Good Award ceremony, which is affiliated with the Shorty Awards. The Shorty Awards have been “honoring the best of social media” since 2009. 

Finalists within this remarkable group of nominees are all doing inspiring and world-changing work. Some of the world’s most well-known charities receive nominations including UNICEF, the Humane Society of the United States, Dosomething.org, Human Rights Campaign, Feeding America and so many other non-profits that we deeply respect. Also, some of the most elite creative agencies and consumer brands in the world received nominations for their engagement in social good efforts; companies like Participant, SoulPancake, CNN, Chipotle and IBM were among the for-profit organizations honored with nominations.

Here’s the list of the other winners who were celebrated at last night’s ceremony in New York City.

Suffice to say, we were overwhelmed with the inspirational work that all these organizations engage in and even more overwhelmed to be honored as a winner within this elite group!
