DEETS:
Server information for each Team Captain will be provided to participants after Extra Life United registration closes on April 21 (register here: extra-life.org/elu). Each server can support up to 35 players at a single time.

Judging for the competition will be based on the most creative healing garden built, with special consideration to designs that include CMN Hospitals and/or Extra Life logos. The builds will be judged live on the Extra Life United Broadcast on Twitch on Sunday, April 25, starting at 2 PM PT.

Healing Gardens can either be an entire world, or a portion of a world and will be judged based on the following criteria:

  • creativity
  • originality
  • contest theme (Healing Garden & CMN Hospitals/Extra Life logo usage)

What is a healing garden? Healing gardens are spaces within a children’s hospital where care goes beyond just medical. These are places are intended to provide peace and healing for a patient’s mental health while they are at their Children’s Miracle Network Hospital for care. See examples and learn more about the Rooster Teeth Healing Garden at Dell Children’s Medical Center, the Bunny Mellon Healing Garden at Children’s National and the UF Health Children’s Healing Garden.

So, are you in? Here are three next steps to get ready to go:
