A Weekend of Gaming for All Ages

The calendar has turned to January. Snow is in the air. This can mean only one thing – it’s time for SnowConX, central and northern Maine’s premier gaming convention. This year’s annual convention is scheduled for this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, January 13 and 14, at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.

The first SnowCon Gaming Convention was held in 2009, motivated by the organizers’ mutual love of games and gaming. With a crowd of nearly 200 in the first year, it seemed that a gaming convention would be a huge success in Bangor.

If you love tabletop games, this is the convention for you! There will be board games, card games, roleplaying games, LARPs, miniatures, demo games, strategy games; as well as a packed game library, vendors, exhibitors, costume contests and more for gamers of all ages and experience levels.

And, the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals team will be there on Saturday to share how gamers can play games and heal kids by registering for Extra Life, and we hope to see you there.
