Butterfinger is excited to team up again with Extra Life again during 2024! After having raised over $41,000 for Extra Life during the Game Day weekend in November 2023, we are excited that Butterfinger will continue to help fund life-saving treatments and other healthcare services, along with research and equipment.
FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH LAUNCH
With the launch of FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH on February 29th, Butterfinger is partnering with a group of streamers to stream the new game while fundraising for Extra Life. As we work towards our fundraising goal for this year, a donation of at least $5 to Extra Life will score you a code for the Shrina Bangle Mk II in the new game.

How do I get a code?
- Donate $5 or more to Extra Life between 2/29/24 – 3/8/24, open to residents in North America and South America. You will receive a Square Enix Members code in your confirmation email.
- Please visit https://membership.square-enix.com/register to login or register for an account and enter the Square Enix Members code provided. A free Square Enix Members account is required to receive the code.
- The in-game item code for the Shinra Bangle MK II will appear in your Square Enix account.
- Redeem this code from your Square Enix account to unlock the Shinra Bangle MK II on your PlayStation device.
How Do I Get Involved?

What Do I get when I make at least a $5 donation to Extra Life?
You get the Shinra Bangle Mk II DLC code with a $5 donation to Extra Life, which is a premium bracelet with an engraving of the Shinra Company’s logo. This item is for playable characters to wear in the game to boost their stats. Please note that if you donated during Extra Life Game Day in November and redeemed that code in your Square Enix account, this code cannot be applied a second time.
Is the Shinra Bangle MK II available to everyone?
One code per donor during the promotion is available only to residents in North America and South America that donate $5.00 USD or more between 2/29/24 – 3/8/24. A Square Enix Members account is required to receive the code. The in-game item code will be emailed to you from Extra Life, and will be listed on your Square Enix Members account once you redeem it.
What do I do to get the DLC if I redeemed the code in November?
Once the game is launches on February 29th, the code to redeem your Shinra Bangle MK II on PlayStation will appear in your Square Enix Members account. Use this code to unlock the DLC and get ready to #GameBetterWithButterfinger!
