Extra Life United elevated by the dedication of gaming influencers

That’s a wrap on Extra Life United 2020! We might not have had a physical event this year, but taking the event digital demonstrated just how passionate the Extra Life community can be. Hundreds of streamers, content creators, and Extra Life fundraisers gathered for online tournaments and charity drives. The hearts for kids in hospitals across North America you all demonstrated was truly inspirational.

By the time Extra Life United came to an end, you all had collectively raised nearly $375,000 USD to support the COVID-19 Impact Fund. We want to thank everyone who helped put us over that astonishing number. That kind of fundraising deserves to be lauded as a true achievement. So, from the bottom of our hearts and on behalf of all the kids that your efforts will help: THANK YOU!!

We especially want to honor our Extra Life Ambassadors who turned out to support us at Extra Life United and personally raised hundreds and thousands of dollars for their local children’s hospitals:

You’re willing to go the extra mile to help some of the most vulnerable people in our society. You don’t do it for the rewards or the recognition, you do it simply because it’s the right thing to do.

You’re all incredible. Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do. Times are tough for many people right now, but you have given so much hope to your audiences and the kids who will directly benefit from the work you do. <3
