Honoring Marcie Long | Winner of the Victoria Enmon Award
Congratulations to Marcie Long from Children’s Health in Dallas for winning the 2019 Victoria Enmon Award! Named after Victoria Enmon, the teen in Texas who passed away far too young, this award exists to honor a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital Director who goes above and beyond to take Extra Life to the next level in their community.
Check out this video featureing JoEllen Enmon (Victoria’s mom) to hear the inspiring ways Marcie is activating the gaming community in Dallas to play games and heal kids.
Marcie works tirelessly to come up with creative ways to support the kids who are treated at Children’s Health. This past year, she worked hard to forge relationships in the esports community to benefit the kids in North Texas. Notably, Complexity Gaming came on board to elevate Dallas’ Extra Life community and drive fundraising year-round. Learn more and check out this video to see Complexity in action #ForTheKids.
Don’t forget to sign up for Extra Life to help sick and injured kids in hospitals around the US and Canada by playing games!
