Join in Wizards of the Coast’s Streams Leading Up to Game Day

Wizards of the Coast kicked off their Game Day stream fundraising earlier today with Magic: The Gathering employees taking over the official Wizards of the Coast stream for several hours. The stream today ran from 9am through 12pm PST and featured Magic: The Gathering Arena, Magic: The Gathering Online, and a heaping helping of goofery. The team at Magic: The Gathering plans to do this each day this week during the lead up to Game Day to help build hype for their efforts to raise money for Seattle Children’s Hospital.

The official Game Day streaming plan for Wizards of the Coast kicks off on November 2 at 3pm PST and will go until midnight. During that time, every person who sends a donation of at least $20 USD to the Magic: The Gathering team will receive a code for Magic: The Gathering Online that contains one each of the following:

• An alternate art shock land (chosen from Blood Crypt, Temple Garden, Godless Shrine, Watery Grave, Hallowed Fountain, Sacred Foundry, Overgrown Tomb, Steam Vents, Stomping Ground, and Breeding Pool)
• 1 nontradeable Ajani, Extra Life Mascot Avatar
• 1 nontradeable Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Magic and Friendship Avatar

You can also contribute toward the fundraising goal by purchasing fun gear like shirts, pins, stickers, and playmats from the Magic: The Gathering’s special Extra Life Pro Shop. They all come branded with an image of Ajani, Magic: The Gathering’s Extra Life mascot! All profits from those sales will go to Seattle Children’s Hospital.

If you want to get even deeper into the spirit of Game Day, you might want to consider forming a streaming team under the larger Magic: The Gathering super team! Form a team of up to six people and compete to see if you and your friends can raise more money for your local children’s hospital than others across North America. If you can make it into the Top 8 teams under the Magic: The Gathering super team, you will be granted codes for yourselves and your audience that open an early-access premium card style for the Inspiring Veteran card.
