Extra Life United in Partnership with DreamHack April 23-25, 2021

Extra Life is excited to be partnering with DreamHack to bring you Extra Life United April 23-25, 2021! We’re opening registration on March 15, 2021, at 12 pm MT. Extra Life United is a virtual charity gaming tournament where gamers compete in online tournaments to win donations from our prize pool for their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

We’re thrilled to announce this year’s tournament games. Compete to win donations for your local children’s hospital:

• Among Us
• Chess.com
• Fall Guys
• Magic: The Gathering Arena
• Rocket League

Feeling creative? We will have two Reddit competitions (more details to come), allowing you to win funds for your hospital:

• Cosplay competition
• Skateboard design competition

You can also sign up for a friendly team Minecraft competition hosted by Minecraft community favorites! (This is not part of the prize pool).

Extra Life United will broadcast live on Twitch Saturday, April 24th, and Sunday, April 25th. In addition to the live broadcast, community events and panels will be happening in the Extra Life Discord and Twitch channel beginning Friday, April 23rd! Registration will open on March 15, 2021.

How do I win money for my hospital?
Win money for your hospital by competing in tournament games and trying your hand at one of our creative challenges on Reddit to design a skateboard or a cosplay! Reddit competitions open on 4/23 and will close on 4/25 (more details to come).

How do I watch the broadcast?
Tune in on Saturday, April 24th, and Sunday, April 25th at twitch.tv/extralife4kids to watch our event broadcast!

This is neat! Do we get event badges?
Yes! For the first two weeks of registration, we have an Extra Life United event tee, badge, lanyard, and pin available for purchase when registration opens.

What if I do not want to compete in games, can I still participate?
Not to worry! We still have plenty of exciting things planned to participate in through our panels, movie night, community hangouts, creative challenges, and broadcast.

We love that you’d like to learn more about your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital! We encourage you to register for Children’s Hospitals Week on March 15, 2021, at 12 pm MT, which kicks off on April 19th and leads right up to Extra Life United!
