Pride LGBTQ+ Podcasts and Influencers We Love
LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer) Pride Month is celebrated in June to commemorate the 1969 Stonewall riots in Manhattan. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals raises funds to ensure all kids receive the best care. During Pride Month we are celebrating the efforts of those who help kids and families in the LGBTQ community have the care they need when they need it most.
With Pride month upon us, we wanted to elevate the LGBTQ+ folks in the gaming community. To that end, we assembled a small list of five awesome channels, shows, and streamers to highlight queer creators and content.
Gaymer Guys
Hosted as part of the WOWPresents YouTube channel, the Gamer Guys tackle topics pertaining to video games while proudly embracing their sexualities. Hosts Chase Koloszi and Evan Michael Lee have short, on camera conversations with an emphasis on queer issues in gaming. The show doesn’t feature the duo playing games or streaming, but it does highlight important conversations that the gaming space desperately needs.
Rainbow Arcade
If you are looking for more LGBTQIA+ streamers to follow on Twitch, you’re looking for Rainbow Arcade. The stream team consists of fifty amazing streamers coming from a wide variety of backgrounds and representing a diverse collection of genders and sexualities (including rock star Extra Lifers: Cypheroftyr, Urban Bohemian and Shamanom) It can be difficult to find streamers when you’re queer, but Rainbow Arcade has assembled a wonderful streaming community to support one another and putting positivity out into the world.

Staffista
As one of the founding academics behind Not Your Mama’s Gamer, a queer woman of color, and a Mixer partner, Saffista has been making waves in video games for a long time. She streams a wide variety of games, fundraises for charitable causes, and has a consistent streaming schedule that includes adorable Saturday morning co-op streams with her daughter. Join the Party
Speaking of podcasts, consider Join the Party if you are looking for a new Dungeons & Dragons actual-play podcast! With a storyline that features two gay princes and LGBTQ folk participating at the table, it’s a great way to have a relaxing time while also learning about D&D. The show features Afterparty episodes where the cast gets together to answer listener questions and what went on behind the scenes.

MrKraven
Looking for a big gay bear to watch play horror games with a laidback attitude? MrKraven plays just about everything in the horror gaming scene, both big and small. His dedication leads him to play truly frightening experiences and laughably terrible attempts at horror. While he does stream on Twitch, he considers himself as a full-time YouTuber.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals are a safe place for LGBTQ youth to find healing from whatever medical issue they are facing.
