Extra Lifers Raised an Astounding $3,322,193.71 to #ChangeKidsHealth During Game Day 2021
Hey all! Another Game Day weekend has come and gone — and it was a good one! The Extra Life community raised more than $3,322,193.71 over the weekend — bringing the program to $10,088,728.73 raised year to date in 2021! AMAZING JOB!!
Game Day is what it is because of YOU! Now more than ever, philanthropy is crucial to ensure children’s hospitals are supported so that kids continue to receive the best care possible – no matter life’s circumstances. Donations can transform how children’s hospitals meet the urgent needs brought on by the pandemic, while still maintaining an exceptional standard of care and well-being. Looked pretty awesome, huh? You know, if we recapped all the generosity, gameplay, pies in the face, beard/head shavings and BeanBoozleds consumed into one recap video, it’d be years long! We are now even closer to raising our $100 millionth dollar since 2008.
Game Day 2021 Fun Facts:
- 27,416 community members registered to #changekidshealth
- 7,926 community members received a donation on November 6-7, 2021
- 4,796 community members reached their goal thus far in 2021
- $295,128.40 was raised using milestones/incentives during Game Day
- $3,322,193.71 raised during Game Day

Now that Game Day is over, we have just a few more weeks to raise funds to change kids’ health in 2021. We’re nearing our $100 million raised milestone since 2008. You could be the person that pushes us past that milestone. Donations go to local hospitals to fund critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, along with innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, child life services that put kids’ and families’ minds at ease during difficult hospital stays and financial assistance for families who could not otherwise afford these health services.
